December 19, 2019I bought the light blue color jacket for my son who just turned 5 (42" and 40 lbs). He's on the slimmer side, so this jacket fits a little big on him, but I don't mind- he'll wear it next season, too! The inside fleece is very soft. The jacket was warm enough to withstand the frigid 20 degree weather in Washington state. The only unexpected surprise was the color- it's not a bright, sky blue like the picture suggests. In real life, it's a more muted, gray-blue color. We decided to keep it anyways- my son loves this jacket!

Great Winter Jacket for Michigan Weather
November 12, 2019This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. My son loves it too. It’s soft / warm / and cozy. He doesn’t mind wearing it all day long. He says it keeps him very warm during school recess. I also like the reflective/silver material for night time.

Good enough coat
November 6, 2019I've been buying the JCrew puffer coats for my kids for years. They're the warmest coats and I'm always thrilled with the quality. They last years. That being said, I really miss the down filler. The coat has a more "cheap" feel to it without the down and with the interesting outer material. I also think that it's time that JCrew updated the look of the puffer and made it a drop more stylish. My son is thrilled with it though, says it's comfortable and likes the look. I'm sure it will keep him warm (we haven't had any super cold days yet this winter).
