Girls' stadium-cloth topcoat

I got this coat in navy for my daughter a few years ago. The wool was thick, the faux fur was fluffy, the buttons felt durable and there were so many sweet details like little ruffles around the pockets. She is now several sizes bigger so I got her a new coat this year, in burgundy. I am so disappointed with this coat for how expensive it was. Probably double the price. The wool feels flimsy, the faux fur looks awful. While the overall coat is the same, there are no ruffles at the pockets, and some of the darts are gone that help give it shape. The same price for the coat with fewer steps to make it. The buttons look cheap. She knew it was coming so we already took the tags off but I wish I could return it. Not the quality I would expect from J.Crew but sadly have been more disappointed than happy with my purchases lately. I should have purchased from the factory store for the quality I got.
