Girls' pintuck dress in gold lamé

As others have said, this dress is Very wide and Very short, but worse than that, the fabric and especially the seams are sharp, prickly, and irritating. My child isn't particularly sensitive to "itchy" fabrics, but she couldn't wear this dress for five minutes. It's awful. And looks nothing like the picture.

Sadly, not as pictured. The dress is not as vibrant in person; it’s a soft gold. Also, the fit is too wide (especially at the shoulders) and too short. This was a final sale purchase and so I am unable to return. Not recommended. J. Crew, can consideration to given to making dresses for girls that fall at the knee? Most of your girls dress by default are above the knee. Thank you.
