Girls' puff-sleeve velvet dress

I was so disappointed that I returned these! I ordered a red and a green but the colors and fabric were not as pictured - the red was more like a muted magenta, and the green was dull and almost teal. Not the crisp jewel tones pictured on the website. The velvet was more of a crushed velour with huge creases and variations in texture. I’m not sure if they would come out with a steam or not, as velvet cannot be ironed.

The dress is beautiful and very comfortable!!! The problem is after the first was it rip off!! I want to love jcrew clothes cause it has unique stuff but seams like the quality is very poor!!!

I ordered 3 of these dresses for my daughter. They are unwearable as packaged. The velvet looks completely crushed. I will try steaming and see if there's an improvement. The rose petal color is as pictured, but the headband in rose petal velvet is a completely different kind of velvet and color (as pictured, though). Hope this helps. These are indeed a "velvet" type of material, not the velourish velvet used in the velvet leggings. It's just crushed.
