Girls' metallic Chelsea boots

I wish I had read the other 2 reviews prior to ordering these rose gold Chelsea boots for my daughter. I went on previous experience instead and I am very disappointed. When she tried them on, they looked big and without shape or structure and definitely not cute. I compared the construction to an outgrown J Crew suede Chelsea she owned and loved. There is a noticeable quality issue even though the materials are different. J Crew- remember what made you a favorite with your base. High style and quality, medium-higher price points, because your products were worth it. Final Sale was a warning and not a bargain in this case.

I think quality particularly in jcrew shoes has been declining for a couple years. These are bulky, mis-shaped, and awkward. In the past JCrew Chelsea boots are tailored and well made. These are not and easily could be $30 bucks at any store. Sad. I’m donating them.

I purchased these booties for my 5 year old daughter. She was so excited becuase they are so cute and couldn’t wait to wear them to school. When I picked her up the metallic coating on the toe had rubbed off after the first wear. I understand that it is not a leather upper but, when creating shoes for children they should be a little more durable.
