May 4, 2022The width of this belt is described as 1.25 inches, but in fact it is only 1 inch. This narrowness actually makes a big difference in its appearance, which is not apparent in the catalog photo. Also, the leather is hard like vinyl and doesn’t seem like the supple leather I expected.

April 15, 2022I used to buy J. Crew leather belts and they would last 5+ years. I purchased this belt and immediately noticed a major drop in quality. This leather felt light as air and flimsy. While putting it on the first time, a part of it split in half, and it became apparent it is two paper thin strips of leather (or faux leather) glued together.
