September 19, 2022The belt runs a little small and the Natural color is a little browner than in the photos. Also, the belt has been leaving small streaks of stains on my lighter pairs of jeans. I got this item on sale, but if I hadn't I would be pretty disappointed overall.

August 18, 2022I bought the "Natural" color, which on the photos appears sandy -- a perfect complement to classic-colored desert boots. But the belt is actually a very dark taupe, leaning into brown; I thought I received the "Prairie" color by mistake. The photo is quite deceptive. On the plus side, the belt, while not the highest quality, looks good on and fits well (as usual I went up a size from my pant size: 34" belt for my 32" J.Crew pant waist size).

July 20, 2022Ordered a 36. Doesn't reach far enough to close on first hole. I'd think it was just me being larger, but I'd tried it on while wearing a size 36 pair of Jcrew's 770 tech pants that fit comfortably. Maybe belt sizes aren't the same as pants but there's no sizing guidance on the item. Avoid this item now that's it's no exchanges or returns and sizing is a gamble.

April 11, 2021Honestly, I think anyone interested in purchasing this belt can do better for the money. Yes, it does stray a little from a plain, run-of-the-mill leather belt with an interesting texture and square brass buckle, and it has reasonable thickness, but the quality of leather just doesn't justify the MSRP here. It doesn't really have a nice density, or "heft" to it, almost making it feel more like bonded leather. To top it off; it's not even made in the U.S. (or England or Italy). I remember the good old days when "The Crew" could offer that for a much better price. Granted, it may have a unique look to it at first, but to me, this doesn't seem like a belt that will age that well considering the quality. If you can get it on sale at a good price, maybe go for it then.
