Italian wool tie

So i waited for a very long time for this to come back in stock and be sent. When i received the item it looks and measures more like the American black tie carried by J.Crew. This has a silky look to it or a sheen. It is also not 3 inches at its widest point. Its just a smidge over 2.5 MAYBE 2.75 again like the other tie description. If i put a J.Crew 3in tie and this tie side by side its very noticeable this is smaller. Its a nice tie but if you order it as its described you will be disappointed. Alas! this stayed in its bag pass the return period.....
