October 1, 2022I purchased this item in the Evergreen Sing Stripe color. Unfortunately, this is definitely not as advertised! This is not a single pass-through strap at all due to it's length. I used this for my Timex for J.Crew field watch from 2008 and I have about a 3-4 inches of strap flapping away in the wind. Average nylon material, poor item description from J.Crew.

May 8, 2022I bought the blue multi-stripe one for my BB58 blue and it goes really well with the watch, almost better than the one that is sold by the watch maker. It has the extra loop that NATO watches come from but I cut these off to make it a single pass through. The quality of the material and the stitching are good but I'm deducting one star because the strap is thinner than other NATO straps I've purchased. I recommend buying the striped versions since the designs are a little more unique. Also, I recommend for those looking for a thinner NATO since certain lug lengths don't always allow for thicker NATO straps.

May 5, 2022The description is misleading; I wanted a strap that passes through the buckle just once, as most do. This, however, is a more traditional NATO strap with a piece perpendicular to the main strap, which means you have to double back. Not a problem if that's what you're looking for, but it's definitely bulkier and often comes undone, so I have an inch or two of strap flapping around. J. Crew should really add a second image to show the other side of the strap. It's also thinner than the OEM strap, so I expect it to wear out more quickly. Unfortunate that this was final sale. I suppose there's a lesson here about buying an unreviewed product that's marked final sale as soon as it hits the website.
