I only gave it 1 star because it made me give at least 1 star. Should be 0 or negative stars. Wore the watch to the pool with my 3 year old. In less than 3 feet of water there is now moisture inside the case. Terrible watch. Do not buy.

I have purchased a few items through JCrew over the years that were manufactured by other brands. I have been extremely happy with all of them until I bought this watch. For $50 I wasn’t expecting an heirloom watch but this thing is garbage. The “hardened glass crystal” scuffed on the first wear and scratched on the second wear. It’s cheap plastic. I wouldn’t have bought the watch if I knew the crystal was so flimsy. The watch itself isn’t bad for $50 but now I have to hold my wrist at an angle to see the time without obstruction from the scuffs and scratches. Save your money and get one for half the price at one of those Dakota kiosks in the mall.

My 13 yo son asked for a basic, no frills watch for Christmas. He wanted an analog watch without any bells and whistles to tell acurate time. Searching online turned up a lot of garbage. On a whim, I searched J.Crew, where I was already doing a lot of holiday shopping. This watch was perfect! It is simple, functional and a great price. I had never heard of the brand but researched it before purchasing. I trust J.Crew to only sell quality third party products. The only downside is that when it arrived, the metal box was open and it seemed like something was missing. There was no paperwork about the watch or operations (such as changing the battery). TLDR: teenage boy was super happy with this watch on Christmas morning.
