Long Sleeves
March 14, 2023The material looks great and I wish they'd stuck with contrasting buttons rather than these tonal ones. But the details are all quite nice with the patch pockets etc. I will say that the sleeves are just far too long so work that into the expense.

Perfect blazer
February 28, 2023I chose 38S for a more slim look and fit, it turned out to be really good. I am 5'10" 165 lb for the record. The fabric is very nice, soft and silky. The color is dark navy, easy to pair with pants/jeans. I would definitely recommend this blazer.

January 18, 2023Previous reviews saying the jacket runs big and it’s a mix of wool and linen are false. 100% wool and true to size. I bought this coat 5 or 6 years ago and again just now in a larger size and it fits exactly the same as it did then. I owned probably 5 jcrew suit jackets in both classic and slim fit and I’d say this feels a little more snug than the jcrew English herringbone that I got a month ago. Great blazer for any occasion. 5’11” 180 and got a size 40S but 40R fits me too.

Versatile, quality blazer for the money
January 6, 2023I'm not sure how prior reviews indicate this mode fits overly large. I have several Ludlow Slim 42L blazers and this one fits about the same as the others. Good for work or for going out and while it's flannel, it's lightweight and unlined so good for any season

Perfection in Legacy J Crew suiting.
January 2, 2023My son has this jacket from two years ago and he wears it so much that I needed to get him a second one- a just in case jacket because it really is his favorite - beautiful quality Italian wool - nicely cut - he normally is a 40 L but the sizing in a 40 R fits the same as his other legacy Ludlow in the same Italian wool, as the 40 L. I can’t tell you how much he wears this jacket in law school with dress pants, with Khakis and with Denim as well , with sweaters or dress shirts , it’s the most versatile jacket ever ever made! Goes with everything! And the history of the Italian wool family owned company is a nice side note that the legacy lives up to its name - wonderful jacket can’t say enough great things about it. ( not a full lining but my son likes that) my son is 6’2” and 205 lbs. in this case the 40 R was the size instead his usual 40 L He is tall and slender but is toned and has muscle- hope that helps for sizing.
