Runs very small
February 1, 2022My usual size is L and this is M if I am generous and most likely S. I am quite surprised that prior reviewers thought this ran big. I got L and not only it is very tight but, what's the most disappointing, but also sleeves are very short. Basically stuck with something I can't wear because jcrew can't seem to get basic quality control issues fixed. Other than the size issue, seems like it's decent quality

Classic at its best!
December 22, 2021Been a big fan of black watch plaids forever. The quality and fit are superb. A bit of pilling but expected from boiled wool. Not a big problem because it can easily be brushed off or pulled. Collar seems to stand and remain up due to the band under it and will ask the dry cleaners to press and flatten it. Brushing the boiled wool enlivens the color. Weight is good enough for chilly SoCal nights. My second boiled wool chore jacket from JCrew.

ELIMINATES THE COLD
December 17, 2021If you want a comfy home cardigan then this it! Boxy in shape, but this is made for lounging. For my height, I could've used an extra 1/4-1/2 inch on the sleeves. It does have some stretch, so hopefully it'll break in. IF YOU WANT A CASUAL OUT-ON-THE-TOWN BLAZER, THIS IS NOT IT!!!
