Fits small based on
7 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
These jeans get praise for the color and the stretch, and a few customers liked the thicker denim feel. The big takeaway, though, is that they run much slimmer and smaller than expected for a straight fit, often reading more like a skinny jean. Customers who tried them generally suggested sizing up, and some even went a full size or more up. Overall, the wash and fabric are appealing, but the fit is the main thing to watch.

Waaay too small!
July 24, 2021J Crew - what is up with your sizing?! These are tighter than most "slim fit" brands, more like a skinny jean. I specifically wanted a straight fit. Very disappointing, and it's on final sale so no possibility for a refund either. Just a very disheartening experience. Off to Salvation Army it goes.

Way Too Tight
July 12, 2021I've been a loyal J. Crew customer for years, and one thing I've generally appreciated is the ability to order online and know that items will fit. That was absolutely not the case with these jeans and seems to be an increasingly common problem now that almost all J. Crew denim and chinos have stretch. These jeans are so tight they are absolutely unwearable. I buy the 770's because I don't want my jeans to be tight. Overall, I'm very disappointed.

WAY too skinny, nothing like a 770
July 9, 2021These jeans fit like very tight, stretchy skinny jeans, there's nothing "straight-fit" about them. I sized up from my normal jean size and still got burned.
