Fits true to size based on
6 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers like the athletic fit here, saying the pants feel comfortable, true to size, and offer a nice balance of slim and not-too-tight. The fabric gets strong marks for feeling soft, quality, and not too heavy or too thin, making these a solid everyday corduroy. A few customers noted that the Saddle Brown color looks much more muted and darker than the photos, so it’s best to expect a drab brown rather than warm orange tones. Overall, these seem to be a reliable pair with a modern fit and a nice amount of stretch.

A winter wardrobe staple
January 4, 2022Corduroys have long been my winter staple pant. These are great, I’ve ordered some in a number of colors. They look great, feel soft, and the muted tones are my favorite.

Great fit
December 28, 2021The 14 wale corduroy looks less like traditional corduroy, which I like. The new 1040 fit is great. I always felt the old 1040 fit is more of a relaxed fit. My old go to fit is the 770 but I always wanted more taper on them. Compare the new 1040 to 770, the top block is almost identical, but 1040 has bit more taper. This will be my new go to fit.

Saddle Brown color way off — and disappointing!
December 20, 2021the pants fit well. I'm 5'7", 135, slim athletic build. I ordered size 30/32. the waist fits better than the 770 (I think) straight fit version that I got last year in the same size. those pants fit well too — I probably prefer the straight fit overall, but the waist (at least in the copy I got) is noticeably larger than the waist in this athletic fit version. And I don't need that extra room — means I definitely need a belt, and the waist is big enough to bunch up slightly because of that. But my main comment / complaint about these pants is the color. As others have pointed out, the color in the picture is not at all similar to the actual pants (and it's not my monitor, which is color-corrected). There is no richness at all to the color; it's just a very dull, drab, low-saturation medium brown. This discrepancy makes for a fairly disappointing purchase despite the pants being comfortable and well-fitting.
