Best jeans I ever purchased
June 30, 2020This Japanese Selvedge denim quality is so high. It’s not raw so preshrunk, but rigid and non stretch. Also good indigo color, so you can enjoy the fading it while wearing and washing. The silhouette is perfect, not too slim or not too baggy. I have many jeans, but this would be my last jeans. I don’t think it’s so easy to find out better jeans than this pair.

June 10, 2020I love these jeans. Great quality selvedge denim. nice deep indigo color. I usually wear a 34 waist, and thanks to other recommendations I ordered a 32, and it was the right call. Because they're selvedge denim, and take a while to break in, the 32 was snug at first, but they have broken in nicely and I love the fit.

Perfect pair of denim
February 12, 2020Really great pair of jeans. Love the texture, the color and the fit. I wear 30 waist in Ludlow Slim pant fits and ended up purchasing a 30 waist in these as well. The thighs are just as snug, but the waist is just a bit looser. Not too loose. Going down a size for the exact waist was too slim in the thighs. Would definitely buy these again and would recommend to anyone needing a solid pair of denim.

High Quality, Authentic Denim
January 25, 2020These Wallace and Barnes rigid jeans in Japanese Selvedge Denim were exactly what I was looking for. In the spirit of owning less things, but owning things of quality, these are heads and shoulders above the average offering and well worth their price. The big curveball was figuring out what size to buy. I normally wear a size 31 in everything, but these in size 31 were oddly large in the waist, which also distorted the fit of the rise to seem way too high. I exchanged the 31 for a 30, which worked out very well. The questions are: are just the waist and rise measurements off in 31 and/or other sizes, are they designed to be a size larger overall, or are they mis-marked?
