July 18, 2020These are broken in feel and breathes well. Wore in 90 degree heat, and not suffocating at all. Look is similar to nike sb chinos with elastic which are sold out now. Also similar to stussy M pants with the elastic waist. I wear 32/30 in tech pants 770 and bought the same size. Looking for the skater aesthetic then these are probably your preference. 5'10 165

Great vintage feel
May 24, 2020Ordered these on sale, so got two pair. They do run a size larger in the waist, I'm a size 32, but the 31 fits just right. They fit true to the description, wider leg...not a skinny fit tapered pant...if you like that sort of thing, you will not like these. I like the roomier style, always have. Quality material and design. I feel they will last a very long time. If you look back at military pant styles, you will understand where J Crew was going with this!

May 22, 2020These have a vintage military fit that's quite relaxed, and while the button fly is shorter in apparent length, the rise is just right for vintage-styled chinos like this. (Thanks, by the way, for the button fly on these.) I'm impressed with both the bold design choice and with how exceptionally well made these are. Now that I've tried these, I'll definitely be getting the other color, as well. Keep on keeping on, J. Crew!

May 17, 2020These are not average chinos. These are made to last. Incredibly high quality. These remind me of how things used to be made. If you want some new chinos, invest in a pair of these. Worth the price.

Nice pants, but very wide legs
May 12, 2020These seemed to be a very high quality pair of pants, and extremely well made. But the legs were cut extremely wide. I didn't care for the style, and ultimately returned them.
