February 8, 2023Somehow the photographs don't do these pants justice. Online I wouldn't look twice but they definitely caught my eye in-store. The fabric looks heavier than it actually feels, hence the wool-poly blend. I do recommend getting them cuffed at the hem for a smarter look.

December 21, 2022Excellent weight and wool-blend texture. If you're familiar with the fit of J.Crew's other Classic relaxed-fit, full-leg pants, these are very reminiscent of those. Flat-front, higher-rise, quality zip-fly, fuller through the hips, thighs, and out of the leg opening. **IMPORTANT NOTE** These pants are half-lined [52% Cupro - 48% Polyester], similar to a pair of wool suit pants (not mentioned in the description, as of writing this review), which is a nice detail given the outer fabric composition and overall weight. As a result, they are dry-clean only (also incorrectly noted in the product description). If you are okay with these details, these pants are phenomenal. However, if you were seeking a machine-washable pair with a little less maintenance, I'd recommend sticking with J.Crew's classic relaxed-fit cotton chinos, or 770 straight-fit chinos.
