My favorite pair of dress pants
August 29, 2024There's so much to love about these pants. I normally fluctuate between a 31/32 and a 32/32 at J. Crew, and I'm very glad I opted for the 31/32 with these pants. For me, the fit is perfect, comfortable in the waist and seat, with a slight taper down to the hem for a timeless look. They're a more generous cut than the Ludlow, but more tapered than the Crosby pants I've had in the past. But it's the little details that really sell the pants, like the button closure at the waist and the pleats. They're technically suit pants, but they're one of my go-to items any day of the week.

Great pair of slacks
April 16, 2024I picked up the matching jacket on a deep sale a while ago and was waiting for the pants to restock. I wasn't disappointed! The Loro Piana fabric is wonderful, soft and moves very well. The waits fits true to size, and the leg has plenty of room for movement without feeling baggy or sloppy. It's bigger than the Ludlow, but not as wild as some of the bigger fits you'll see in current trends.

See Through/Terrible Quality
October 12, 2022Easily the worst suit I've ever seen Jcrew sell. Sizing is slightly larger than the old Crosby line. But this suit isn't even lined—just the sleeves. For this price, the suit should be fully lined. Instead, you're getting one piece of see-through wool. Guaranteed not to last with that level of construction. The wool itself feels stiff, not soft in the hand. The only thing they got right is the color. Avoid at all costs.
