Not a flannel
December 4, 2021When I saw this twill shirt I assumed it was a flannel since it had a Buffalo Check pattern. Buffalo check is typically a flannel staple, and flannels are twill, so I assumed it must be a flannel shirt. When it arrived I immediately realized this shirt was not what I thought it was. The material is rough and scratchy, and feels more like low quality linen or hemp. The indigo dye was very well done, but the material killed this shirt for me. Do not buy this expecting a soft flannel shirt or you will be disappointed.

Great Design, Great Fit, Great Material
October 29, 2021Every once in a while there are J. Crew shirts that just check every box, and can become pieces you would want to wear for years. This is one of those shirts! The design is great, and the material looks even better in person. The indigo is rich in color, but can still mix well with jeans or dark pants. The fit is exactly what you would imagine. Great shirt, keep making more like this!

Nice shirt ... size down if you're a tweener
September 25, 2021Eyed this for a bit and finally pulled the trigger on a medium. Exchanged it for a small ... fits great. I'm 5-9 and 150 lbs. I go between a medium and a small , but usually a medium fits. However, lately realizing "slim fit" is definitely a medium and regular fit leans toward a small (but not always). Love the color, pattern and quality of the shirt !

September 23, 2021I like both the pattern and the material. However, jcrew shirts generally have slightly longer sleeves. 2-3 cm. I would be happy if there is a type also with short sleeves.
