Wallace & Barnes naval workshirt in Japanese selvedge chambray

I got this a while back and didn't dig it at first. After a few months break in time it has become one of my standards.

First one I bought for almost full price second I bought immediately when it came on sale, it was an opportunity .. as it’s almost impossible to find such textured salvaged almost raw chambray only available at Japanese brand from Japan and since I am L or XL Asian sizes don’t fit me. Here is what I like .. it’s a vintage fit slightly tapers towards waist with perfect arm length and like any vintage denim soak it in hot water it gains little weight as it shrinks a bit like little less than an inch. Second the use of vintage white thread makes it perfect. If you understand and fan of vintage style go for it , I wanted to buy xxl for oversized look but all sold out, makes me sad!! This shirt is excessively long compared to my other J. Crew shirts in the same size. It also flares out at the bottom, making it feel like you're wearing a dress. I wish J. Crew had some level size consistency. It's not unreasonable to order something assuming it will fit the same as other garments in the same size and cut.
