The pattern is what it is, the extra leaves help but at a quick glance people might see something else so if that matters to you then it's probably not for you. As for the fit, it's an odd construction. For reference I'm a little taller than 6'1. Because this is a 5 button shirt, the last button is at my belly button so this shirt is not meant for tall guys. The other thing worth mentioning is it's loose fitting and part of it again is probably because there's only 5 buttons. This is a shirt where having the cut for tall people would have helped, but can't recommend it because for a lot of guys the fit just won't work. I'll say order true to size just because sizing up or down one won't work so if you want to try it out, order your normal size and hope you have the right body for it.
