Shockingly Versatile
July 1, 2026Really clever, versatile shirt. The waffle knit almost looks like a pique knit on a polo. It’s thick enough to wear as an overshirt, or just wear it by itself tucked or untucked (the length is perfect either way). Like other J. Crew knits, there’s a subtle heft to this shirt. Lends it a reassuring, rugged quality. Another thing, buttons are shanked here which is a detail I always appreciate. Awesome shirt for whatever you need it to be.

Versatile shirt
January 22, 2026Great texture and hand feel. Pretty versatile, although the knit seems like it would be thick, I like this sized up and can make it work in warmer months. Does just fine in cooler weather buttoned up under a casual jacket.
