Kenmare Relaxed-fit suit jacket in Italian wool

I thought the previous reviewer may have been too critical of the quality of this Kenmare blazer, but they were right. This blazer is a poorly constructed garment that is indeed see-through. Lora Piano fabrics are of the best quality, but there does need to be an underlying structure, and this blazer lacks that. In addition, there is a lot of puckering at the seams, which is another tell tale sign of poor craftsmanship. At this price point, sale or not, this is a step back from the quality I expected from J. Crew. This will be a one season garment for evening wear only.

I own 3 kenmare blazers and this was my least favorite. The quality seems pretty flimsy. I like the full cut of the kenmare, this particular one didn’t quite make the cut. Too bad it’s final sale.
