Bowery Slim-fit dress pant in stretch wool

To say these are slim-fit is an understatement. Just trying to get my feet through the leg holes was a challenge. And forget trying to put your shoes on while wearing these slacks. The pant legs got caught on my calves and stayed there while tying my shoes. No thanks. Even though the price was exceptional, these will be going directly into the donation box.

These are DRESS PANTS... they're not meant to be thick and woolly? And as dress pants go, they're actually very sturdy and comfortable. I don't usually wear crazy patterns in my formalwear, so I took a chance on these, and to be honest, they are better than I expected. I LIKE the fact that the tartan pattern is muted and not immediately spottable from across the room. You'll blend into the crowd but stand out enough for anyone closer or passing by to do a double take at your trousers.

The actual wool is thinner than a paper towel, almost comical. I don't think that I could get away with wearing this during fall in even the Sahara desert. The pattern is also very dark, you can barely notice it.
