sizing error
September 10, 2019Pants were tagged 34/32, but were obviously 34/34. I have 3 other pairs of the same pants, and this pair was clearly longer by 2 in, although tags were the same. Now I have to take them to the tailor to see if they can be shortened

Slim fit is right
September 7, 2019These pants are most definitely a slim fit pant. If that is what you're in the market for, you're gonna love 'em. Bought these for my husband for a wedding. They are a trendy cut on a business casual dress pant. Nice pleat to take them up a notch above a khaki. The stretch is a plus. He has a thin legs and they are not baggy in the leg. They taper in the ankle as well. I'd say these even run a tad on the small side both in the waist and length.

Baggy
August 20, 2019Claims to be narrowest leg in the description but this is not true. Pants are quite wide from the waste down.

You would have to order to sizes up for proper fit
August 1, 2019I generally wear a 33 waist in pants. I ordered two pairs of these on clearance, with no return allowed, at a size 34. The pants are extremely tight fitting, have a very low rise, and have no room in the seat. These pants looked like yoga pants on my butt, which is not only uncomfortable, but extremely inappropriate for the purpose of these pants - to wear in a work setting. There has to be some consistency in sizing at JCrew. There is none at this time.

Feels like plastic
July 23, 2019It feels like wearing a plastic bag but without the stretch. Think of a tent material made into pants. As far a fit I have no problem with that.

Tech Twill Pant
July 3, 2019I really had high expectations for these trousers, hoping they would be a good alternative to tropical-weight wool for Houston summer wear. The fit and finish are great, but the poly-cotton, ~80% poly, fabric is not very amenable to keeping a neat and pressed appearance, especially with a low heat iron. You can tell this before ironing simply by bunching the fabric at the hem. Unlike wool, or even 100% cotton, there are several wrinkles that persist when the fabric is unbunched. Besides, if ironed repeatedly, this fabric will likely loose the water-resistant finish, which I assume is heat sensitive.
