Great pants/fabric
July 22, 2021These pants (and entire suit) are great. Love the fabric, great texture and a substantial weight while still feeling airy. Most definitely not a slim cut. These are looser in the thigh than a pair of regular ludlow wool suit pants from 4 years ago. Nice taper to the legs and a mid rise waist.

Short! But great otherwise!
July 8, 2021Trust me when I tell you that these run a full inch and a half to two inches short! Great pants otherwise. But absolutely order a longer length than you normally would! Waist is true to size but leg length is short!

Not slim
May 6, 2021I have many Ludlow slims and these are not slim, i know there is a pleat but these are baggy (I'm 6' 160) and also they run shorter than usual. kinda ruins the suit but hopefully my tailor can fix it. other than that they are great.

Best-yet rendition of this fit
March 13, 2021I've tried a few of the JCrew single-pleat tapered suit pants (the super 120s Italian wool, the cotton-linen, and the wool-cotton) and this material suits the cut best. The fit overall is cropped, a little looser at the top due to the pleats, and a little more tapered from the knee down than typical Ludlow slim pants. These are all alterations I typically do on my pants from JCrew so really nice to be able to get a pair that way off the rack. If you typically don't have to hem Ludlow pants, consider ordering one inseam longer than you usually do if you want these to end up the same length. The material is 55% linen 45% cotton and is lightweight, but not as light at the Portuguese cotton-linen (which was 80-20 cotton-linen): I think this is better because it has enough body to drape beautifully in this fuller cut pant. The color/pattern is much lower in contrast than it appears in some of these pictures online
