Cashmere donegal sweater

Extremely poor quality - thin, rough hard to believe it is cashmere If you are looking for something warm, cozy, soft and stylish, I wouldn't get this. J Crew used to be one of my favorite places to shop, but this sweater tells me that I need to look elsewhere

I'm a fan of J. Crew's cashmere sweaters and this one is no exception. It is fairly lightweight as cashmere goes and the Donegal style looks good dressed up or down. Found it on sale which was an added bonus!

Super-comfortable, great fit, this has quickly become my favorite sweater.

I bought this sweater on sale and was not expecting it to match the quality of a more expensive cashmere sweater. There's a lot of potential variation in the quality of cashmere fibers (length and diameter of the main fibers affect itchiness, as does the presence of guard hairs, and the hair length also affects pilling) and knitted pieces (tightness of the knit determines how well a sweater holds its shape). This isn't the finest cashmere sweater in the world. Though it feels soft to my hand, it still feels a bit itchy on my arms when I wear it with just a t-shirt. But for the price that I paid, I'm still reasonably happy with it.

This basic sweater should be a part of every wardrobe

Not the best cashmere sweater I've ever purchased. It has a nice fit, but it's not very soft. Doesn't feel like cashmere. Color and pattern are nice, though.
