Softspun V-neck sweater

I love this sweater. The fit is perfect on the shoulders and the length is perfect. The materials feels good and looks good. After buying the gray color I came back and bought the same sweater in blue.

The fit is great and the material very soft. Feels like cashmere.

Just as the marketing blurb says: if you don't want to spend a load of cash on cashmere, this is your next best bet. The blended wool is soft, the fit fitted yet comfortable, and the colors warm. I have half-a-dozen cashmere sweaters that I wear hesitatingly for all the critical reasons that J Crew buyers have identified over the last two years. Given a choice I would opt for these instead of cashmere. More colors, especially heathered shades would be nice!
