Great Sweatshirt with all the Right Details
2 weeks agoWhy is it so hard to get an all-cotton sweatshirt? Well, thank goodness for this then. There’s no fluffy interior on this sweatshirt, rather it’s a slightly rough pile (kind of like a really worn-in Reverse Weave). Actually that makes it a little more versatile, as I can wear this deeper into the warmer seasons than my other sweatshirts. Kudos to J. Crew for making the “dorito” on the collar an actual piece of ribbing, same for the side panels on the body. The striped pattern is really cool too, doesn’t look too assuming from afar, but definitely pops once you’re close. Makes it more of a refined sweatshirt. The cut is good too, relaxed without being huge and baggy, and the body length is short enough to get that traditional silhouette without being cropped. Sleeves are a little long, but I just have short arms… Anyhow, last thing to point out is the cool throwback label they used for these, cool little detail.
