Alden® for J.Crew plain-toe boots

Another attractive JCrew / Alden combination. These are on the Barrie last although JCrew surprisingly doesn't point that out, so usual sizing rules (~1/2 down) will apply. Color is more orange than the red pictured here - this is a true tan color. Leather is high quality - nice hand, thick and rugged. Despite the crepe sole, the boot looks elegant and long thanks to a longer toe. Because of the crepe sole, expect instant comfort even if this is unlikely to be your go-to office winter boot. Note that as with all Alden products it's a good idea to do a once-over before accepting - mine arrived with a busted pull-tab, but JCrew immediately exchanged. Would definitely recommend!
