Fantastic looking boot for Fall and winter
July 21, 2022These boots look great and are really great quality. As another reviewer pointed out, they arrived with lots of scuffs and some bits of displaced wax on the leather which made it seem like someone had scraped off the leather. But using a hairdryer and horsehair brush fixed it in a jiffy. Unbeatable value when on sale.

Get a horsehair brush and order down a half size
February 2, 2022I wasn't sure what to expect, but I really like these so far. They hurt a little bit, but that's the sign of a well made boot to me, and they're already starting to loosen up. I really like the rubber lug sole, it's much quieter than my Iron Rangers and great in the snow. They seem almost deliberately scuffed up when they arrive, but 10 seconds worth of brushing totally erased it and they look fantastic. They have a really great shape that seems like they'll go with slimmer and wider legged pants. Very happy.

Great boots to wear on a cold icy day
January 6, 2022I've been eyeing these boots for quite some time and finally asked for them for Christmas. Honestly, they could not have come at a better time as the DC area was hit with a recent winter storm. The rubber sole is great and has sufficient grip for a variety of surfaces. The waxed leather holds up well against snow, slush, and whatever debris is on the ground. Remember to size up about 1/2. I normally wear a 10 and felt it right around the ankle. Overall, a great addition to my wardrobe.
