Length is true to size…roomy width
July 22, 2022Just received these Nordic low-top hiking boots today and thought I’d share my initial impressions. Regarding the size, I find that these are pretty much true to size as far as the overall length of the shoe. I wear a size 10.5 in most tennis shoes like Nike, Converse, etc. Since these Nordic shoes don’t come in 1/2 sizes, I ordered up in the size 11. I found them to be about right, maybe just a little bit long, but that’s expected since they’re an 11. Overall the length is fine for me and I’m thinking the 10 would have been too tight. However the width and toe box is roomy, but maybe wearing thick hiking socks will fill in the space. I don’t wear thick socks so I put a memory foam insert in and it now fits just right. As far as the looks, they look pretty much the same as in the JCrew photos. I haven’t worn them outside yet so I can’t offer any impressions on how they perform.
