Great shoes
May 17, 2026This is a very well made pair of shoes. I thought they'd be a little more comfortable right out of the box, but they will need a break in period. I am a size 13. These felt a little snug but I'm sure they will be fine once I wear them a few times. These shoes felt like an investment, like something I'll have for many years. So a little break in period is nothing!

Give it a week or two
May 14, 2026I have heard these are comfortable right out of the box and that they run large. No and no. I do enjoy this style shoe, very easy to dress up or down and got comfortable after about a week.

Quality Derby
April 3, 2026I bought these last month as I've been in the market for a derby and had been eyeing these for months. Unfortunately, I had to return as it seems I'm in between sizes and J Crew doesn't carry 41H (8.5 US). I tried them on and they were a bit snug and uncomfortable. Overall, the quality is great and would recommend if you're able to find your size

Dressy and Casual and Most Important, Classy
August 25, 2025These wonderfully handmade boots have both style and substance. Slightly stiff, but once broken in, they feel like a glove. The leather and the welt are top notch. Can easily dress up or dress down an outfits, so conveniently sits in between dressy with some flare and polished casual. Debated on these for six months before pulling the trigger. Actually tried on a pair during a visit to Paris. And glad I did because the size I would have chosen would have been too small. Wear a 43 in Birkenstocks with a little bit of extra room, and bought at 43 in these and the fit is perfect. Classy through and through.
