These shoes appear to be well made but that's the only positive. The color is absolutely awful! The color online appears much more muted than the actual pastel yellow when I received them. Needless to say, I returned them to the manufacturer which was a nightmare since these shoes can't be returned to J.Crew directly. Contacting the manufacturer for a return label was challenging. If you're looking for clown shoes and a hassle to return, these shoes are for you!

I've left another review as I own these in different colours and also the local canvas white and olive green high top. I also have the Scouts Cap. These shoes fit very well true to size, and I'm enjoying the outdoor inspired design. I get lots of compliments from all of the ones I've worn, and even wearing them around the city all day brand new felt fine. Looking forward to keeping an eye out for what comes out next at Fronteer.

I love these shoes! Great minimalist design and solid shoe construction. I received so many compliments I bought another pair. Went with black, but will probably get the yellow ones, too, as they are so comfortable. Helpful that it fits true to size. I want to try the olive high top ones next with the zipper. Purchased a Fronteer scout's cap and will leave review on that product page.

Acquired rubbish but paid gold. When I purchased these shoes, I had the notion that they will be superior compared to other pieces of footwear similar to the look and nature of the brand and model. After putting these shoes on my feet, I had the sudden urge to catapult them into the nearest rubbish bin.
