Liked all but the buttons
April 1, 2018My husband really liked the shirt, but only got 2 or 3 wears out of it. After washing it the 2nd time following the wash instructions, all three buttons cracked off. Our puppy thought it was a treat and ate one of them that fell onto the floor. Not pleased with all of the buttons breaking and annoyed at having to replace them all.

Nothing wrong...but nothing very right either
March 8, 2018There is nothing wrong with this but nothing much right either. The buttons, texture, and stitching have little that speaks to the higher quality one expects from J. Crew. I bought it online so had I seen it at the store I wouldn't have picked it out but once I pulled it out of the mail I was not impressed--meh. The fit is good and as advertised as slim. I think every other of the scores of J. Crew items I have bought felt understated but classy--this is just the former.

Broken Buttons
December 29, 2017I bought this shirt if white and heather chrome. I love the way they fit and feel. I like to wear them under button downs and rugby shirts. My only problem is that the buttons all broke in the 2nd wash. I found them crumbled in the washer and the dryer. I've had them for just 2 weeks and the buttons are all gone. This isn't the first time I've had issues with J.Crew buttons breaking down, but it usually takes a lot longer. If it weren't for the buttons, I'd give it 5 stars. Maybe you'll have better luck...

High price, poor quality
December 6, 2017Although I liked the look and feel of this shirt, I wore this item one time and both sleeves stretched. The quality is poor and ultimately the high price did not match the quality one would expect from J. Crew.

Slim fit, true to size, S = 5'8, 145lb
October 27, 2017These shirts are soft and the fabric seems durable (will update after a wash or two). They're thinner than some other shirts but they look good and should hold shape. I'm 5'8" and 145 lb with an athletic build. The SMALL fits me with virtually no excess fabric. I know the medium will be a bit to baggy so I'm almost hoping the small stretchs out a bit. When washing - I turn the shirts inside out and dry them on the low heat setting.
