Darn Tough Vermont® for J.Crew striped socks

These are hands down, the best wool socks ever. We used to get Smartwool brand but found that they developed holes or became threadbare after a season or two. Husband is about 5 years into his oldest pairs of Darn Toughs and has seen nary a hole in any of them, and even if they did (which maybe they will, after another 5 years), Darn toughs have a lifetime guarantee! I only wish they sold the women's Darn Toughs at J.Crew as well.

Simply put: these are the best socks you will ever wear. Darn Tough exceeds all the competition and is well worth the extra cash for investing in high-quality, Vermont made socks. The socks don't slide down to your ankles like other brands do and they truly can be worn year round. A padded footbed also adds to the comfort and feels almost like slippers. Treat yourself and your feet, you're always on them.

These are my favorite socks. I have purchased multiple pairs of these in different colors since they've been available. Size large for men, however these fit my 8.5 - 9 feet perfectly. Thick, warm, and durable. As long as these are available I will be buying some every fall/winter. I highly recommend these socks, and any other similar socks available from Darn Tough.

These are amor the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. I say "among" because I ordered several pair. I wish I had ordered more.

Definitely on the thicker end, as far as socks go. Very carefully constructed. I have a pair from last year as well as a pair from this year. Both are holding up very well even after numerous washings and dryings.

The sizing is off. I got 2 pairs. They are both size large for people with size 10-12 feet. Very misleading.
