Neppy twill shirt

I originally ordered this shirt in the green color and had the same issue that many others have had with the sleeve tearing, but have had no problems with this shirt. It’s comfy, fits well, and is great to wear as another layer in the colder weather.

I'll try to keep this as concise as possible. I purchased 4 (red, green, stone heather, and black), so here's a few thoughts: First, and foremost, the stone heather is NOT AT ALL like the pictures; the only neppy color present is an awkward moderately bright red. My SO responded with, "it looks like you were sprayed with blood *chuckles*". As for the green: it's actually subtle beige and black neps, not red (which I actually like better). The black is pretty true to the picture, though there are muted beige neps (not a turn off for me, personally). Red is true to pics and a shirt I've envisioned and wanted for a long time. Initially, all are a little itchy due to the neps, but that subsides. Leaving you with a wonderful, comfortable versatile shirt that breaks the monotony of your go-tos! IE: Wonderful for layering, as you can remove outerwear with the assurance that the shirt is a perfect standalone aesthetic. Lastly, expect slim to fit a whole size lower of slimness.

Love this shirt. Fits and looks great, and comes out of the wash ready to wear. Can wear to the office or out on a weekend.

Bought as a gift for my husband. It’s very soft and extremely comfortable. Love that this shirt is offered in a classic fit. My husband likes a little more room for playing and lifting our toddler around. Slim fit shirts are too snug. He’s put on more muscle and needs more room. We love Jcrew classic fits. Work well for his day to day wear activities as well as for work.

I was disappointed in this shirt. First, it looks nothing like the pictures—it is quite a bit darker (I got the gray one), the red flecks are barely visible and the grain of the material looks quite different. The quality of the material is poor—it looks almost as if it is made out of recycled fabric, and is not that comfortable, which makes sense given that it is a cotton/poly blend (which I did not see until after purchase).

I have a body that's constantly in between sizes. I'm lean but have an athletic build while also being short (5'9"). I like to wear my clothes with as much of a tailored look as possible but often when I buy "slim" fit shirts they're either too tight in the chest or back. This slim shirt is PERFECT. Not to mention the little flecks in the fabric look awesome and it's incredibly soft. I just bought a second one in another color.
