Ludlow Slim-fit suit jacket in Italian stretch chino

Do you have to be a model to wear J. Crew's suits these days? I have a number of suits in 42R that all fit me the same. Ordered this one, can't even get it around my belly button! If you are going to say it is a standard size, make it the industry standard, including precedents from previous J. Crew suits! Also, what a shame J. Crew can't make a standard navy blue suit. I've been looking for years. It's always out of stock, or wrong button colors, or way too expensive, or, as here, poor sizing. Come on guys! I guess if the designers at J. Crew had it their way, I'd be in green corduroy most of the time!

..I can't. First, I love the cut, style and fit of the suit, but like other reviewers, this suit has shrunk, ridiculously, after just a couple trips to the cleaner. I put the pants on this morning and my wife laughed out loud how shrunken and tight the pants had become. I have several other Ludlow suits and they hold up fine. I also use a "Green" cleaner (silicone-based), so no harsh chemicals (perc). I hope they resolve whatever fabric issue is occurring here, cause I would really like to love this suit again.

This suit has shrunk terribly with every trip to the cleaner. BTW - the trips to the cleaner are necessary because the suit looks like you slept in it, the minute you put it on. Even my dry cleaner told me she had a hard time getting it pressed.

After seeing the photos, I thought this suit would be the perfect color. However, it is actually a much darker color than the suit pictured
