Italian leather with gold twist buckle

This belt is just as pretty in person as it appears on line. The green leather is very rich looking and the gold buckle just adds to it. Very happy with my purchase.

I fell in love with this belt online. I mean how often do you find an Italian leather belt in green with a gold buckle?!? I wish I could say the same for the actual belt, though. I ordered a Medium based on JC’s size chart (I wear size 6 bottoms), and yet it’s about an inch too big even on the last notch. But what’s most troubling is that I was either sent a used belt or it’s just poor quality. I noticed the green dye had already come on in spots after I tried it on. The leather is rather smooth in certain parts, but the leather around the notches is quite wrinkled, like after a belt as been worn for awhile. I’m going to take it to my shoe guy hoping he can cut it down for me, add an extra notch, and apply a leather protectant to help it retain its color. A lot of work for a new belt. It was a final sale purchase, so not returnable.
