Demi-fine graduated freshwater pearl ring

This ring stretched out so much it fell off my finger, and I didn’t even feel it, in a j.crew of all places. I loved it so much I’m going to replace it, two sizes smaller, and try and figure out if there’s a way a ring guard will stop it from falling off. It’s a beautiful piece, but it was loose to begin with, and only got looser. I had to change which finger I wore it on until it eventually became a thumb ring because it kept falling off. And now it’s gone forever...

This ring is very flimsy and runs large because of the open design and that its on a very thin wire which doesnt hold the rings shape at all. Also, after wearing it a couple times the wire started to corrode and there was black residue between the pearls. I threw it away in less than a week.
