Acetate blooming necklace in tortoise

I liked the color and vintage look of the necklace. It was a bit smaller than I imagined (I like very large, bold jewelry). Overall I'm happy with it.

I was truly excited when I saw that this necklace was on sale and thought that I could get a jump on some early Christmas shopping. I bought six(6) , when I recieved them in several different packages I was extremely disappointed. I tried to one to my preteen girly girl niece and she politely told me it didn't go with her style. It has a cheap plastic look, nothing that a mature classic dresser would even want to wear with a hood white tee and jeans. It seems like J Crews standards are slowly diminishing. Even on final sale its not worth buying.

I love this totiseshell pattern acrylic necklace. It lays flat and shows the flowers and beads off well. Its is light weight and comfortable to wear and can be dressed up for business and work chic, or down for playful weekend fun with t-shirts, jeans and a funs sweater or jacket. It is seasonless, it will go great with a fall in New England ready outfit, or brights and neautral of the warmer weather months and climates. It has an adjustable chain link choice in the back so it can be worn at different lengths. It is fun and flirty and a keeper.

I bought both colors of this necklace! It is lightweight, great looking (sits at the neckline--doesn't come down long) and is great with crewnecks or V-necks (sweaters or even tees). If you can still buy this, don't miss out! The white is translucent (more like ivory) and the tortoise one is an essential basic in your wardrobe. I love them!

This necklace is much smaller than appears in the photo, and the quality is poor. The plastic is light weight and feels cheap. And the packaging is horrible! J.Crew, your prices don’t warrant shipping in plastic bags without any special attention. I like the classic brand, but lately that extra special touch is missing. I would take note from Zara, the clothes are out of the plastic, wrap in paper and boxed.

I have purchased J Crew jewelry in the past, I love your necklaces. This one did not resemble the past quality. The plastic seemed lighter. I love the weighty feel of the previous tortoise shell necklaces I've purchased. The style is still great the color not as deep. Okay for a young girl. Marta
