Beaded drop earrings

I was skeptical based on the mixed reviews, but the quality and construct of these earrings blew me away. No hesitations -- love them!

these earrings are unfortunately much larger in person than they appear in the photographs (yes, i should have checked the dimensions, if they’re posted). the photographs are scaled similarly to another j.crew pair that i purchased which are much, much smaller and more tasteful. but size is only one problem. the earrings themselves appear to be exactly what they are - cheap. they’re heavy, gawdy and covered in sparkly low quality materials. the photographs make them appear a little bright (i bought the pink monochromatic) but otherwise tasteful. size comes into play again bc the horrible materials are only made more apparent by the proportions. unless you need them for a costume, don’t waste even a few dollars on these earrings. they’re final sale for a reason.

I’m not sure what I expected but I was disappointed. In the photo, the earrings looked elegantly “artsy-chic”. I bought these for a friend to complement a shirt that I bought for her but I’m not sure now. I’ll just hold onto these and debate it.

I got these for a steal and an extra 70% off, thinking they would be great for knocking around in cut-offs on the weekend... I was so surprised how pretty they are and how versatile for summer!
