Age: 55 to 64Cheap weak clasp on a pretty pin design
2 weeks agoIts beautiful and looks as photographed. However, the catch is a little off and is extremely weak. I see myself repairing this with another catch and some E6000 very soon and hope I don't lose it before that happens. Disappointed in this but was final sale. Still, final sale should not mean throw bad quality in plastic bag with no protection for shipping. Do better JC.

January 12, 2026It's ok. Mine did not arrive broken, thankfully, but the clasp does not seem that sturdy. To be honest I was expecting it to be bigger (this is J.Crew!) so it's a little underwhelming. I plan to try it as a "tie" on a collared shirt.

Damaged
January 11, 2026I noticed another review saying they received a damage pin so I thought I should add that I did too. It is actually not even functional because the clasp is broken. I bought it final sale and I’m extremely disappointed that they would send out something like this when I can’t return it. Also disappointed because it’s really lovely. Would love to be able to wear it

January 7, 2026I purchased this brush on final sale along with another handful of items. You can imagine my disappointment upon unwrapping the brooch to find the zone center stone was half out of the prongs. I'm hopeful J.Crew customer service will help me. It is lovely, but I would only buy it in person.
