February 12, 2026The brooch is nice looking, just as you see it in the picture, but on the back, the fastener is insubstantial and the closure is weak. If you actually pinned it to a garment, there is a strong chance the weight of the crystals would not be supported by the pin in back, and it would fall off. I kept the piece, however, thinking that I could sew it with needle and thread to a coat lapel. Disappointing.
