Celestial pearl chain necklace

I like this necklace but the length was not right for me. I twisted a portion of the necklace near the clasp to shorten the length with a small knot. Now it looks great! Overall the materials seem ok but I have purchased gold veneer from JCrew in the past, sometimes it lasts for a long time, and for other pieces, the shine rubs off in no time.

Very cute and high quality. The metal is heavy and good quality
