Freshwater pearl and abalone shell stretch bracelet

J Crew's jewlery has gone downhill consistently for years now. I have pieces from 20 years ago and those were substantial, quality pieces. This particular bracelet is very flimsy. The abalone is two pieces glued together for each piece and I'm not even sure that it's genuine abalone. The J Crew logo tag is plastic and no longer metal. The piece is so lightweight that it is akin to the jewelry kids have for dress-up. I would NOT recommend it. It was not worth it at the discounted price let alone at the full price!
