Cable hat in Italian wool blend

This would be the perfect winter hat. The grey color is lovely. The band is the perfect width. The materials are quality and it is well made. But...no matter how I adjust this on my head, the top comes to a funny point that just doesn't seem aesthetically pleasing. Looks a bit like a Smurf or elf hat. If not for that, I would rate this 5 stars. Sadly, I'll be Smurfing mine back for something more fitted.

I ordered grey. It is perfect in color and size, not too big or small. There is a tiny bit of black woven into the yarn. The knit is substantial and cozy but not heavy. And, it looks just as great turned inside out. No, really!! You' ll see what I mean. I love J Crew's wool/acrylic/alpaca blend in cardigans in the past and knew I had to try this hat. Totally worth it at full price, an absolute steal with a sale code.
