April 6, 2024this is my ultimate fav summer hat. I bought the larger size it fits my med size head perfectly, without being too tight. The brim isn't too wide or short, it actually protects you from the sun, it was perfect even for the beach. The denim elevates it and it is very well made. I have washed it a few times as well and it dried perfectly.

nice bucket hat
December 12, 2022I bought this bucket hat in both the blue and black colors. I liked the black best, but both looked good and were well made of nice heavy denim fabric. Fun twist on a classic!

Skip the monogramming!
September 29, 2022I added the monogramming to this hat - and regret it! The 3-letter initial are SO SMALL that a quarter could cover them up. The monogram looks like a fabric defect on the hat. And to make it worse, it delayed the shipment far beyond expectations. I ordered on 9/5 and received on 9/28... The hat alone may be OK but don't personalize it.

September 9, 2022I got the blue jean version of this hat …specifically for an end to summer beach holiday. I got the large size after reading reviews of jcrew bucket hats …don’t have a massive head but I am 5’11 and not petite and I want as much sun block as possible…though I didn’t have much faith it would provide me that I was won over by how it looked. I have been wanting a bucket hat. Strangely enough something happened with shipping, but thankfully jcrew kindly sent me another one and got it to me in time for my trip. I have great pics of me in it on the beach and it made me so happy! Not only did it look amazing and I got compliments..it actually shielded my face and neck way more than I expected. It is great quality thick cotton denim (strangely it wasn’t too hot) structured nicely …I was a bit annoyed to see the directions are hand wash and I was tempted to throw it in the wash but I like it too much so I just hand washed it and I would recommend that.
