What customers are saying:
Customers generally found this wool-blend hat soft, warm, and cozy, with cute colors that work well for colder-weather looks. A few noted that it doesn’t read like a classic bucket hat and wears more like a slightly flared beanie or cloche. Some customers also suggested it can sit a bit loose or low on the head, depending on the fit. Overall, it seems like a fun, comfy piece for anyone who likes a softer take on the bucket-hat style.

I felt like a “Cosby kid”
April 8, 2023Ok, I tried this on & I felt like the one character ( won’t state the name, but if you’ve ever seen the cartoon you’ll know who i mean) from “fat Albert,” because the sizing—despite being the small—in conjunction w/the material made this sit on my dome going down over my eyes… I played around with it a bit & got it to work. I don’t recall the red version (red is so fab w/my skin tone) had a photo w/someone wearing, but the tan version’s look didn’t seem accurate. This is not a true “bucket hat” coming from one who has a bunch of true ones. It’s like a cross between a bucket & cloche hat maybe? The fabric feels lovely & I love the red so in the colder months I have this to add to my hat collection :)

Cute, but not a bucket hat
February 8, 2023I bought this in the pale blue color on clearance; it's very cute and soft, but it is not a bucket shape - it's basically a slightly flared beanie.

I doubt an alpaca got near this item...
January 20, 2023A pet peeve! There is ZERO alpaca fiber in this hat though it is advertised as such. The label reads: 61% Polyamide, 29% Lambswool, 10% polyester. This is at worst, fraud and at best misleading. The hat is 71% MANMADE, Petro-chemicals and 29% lambswool (but how can this be trusted?). The quality of J.Crew is on the decline while the trend-chasing increases. CUSTOMERS WANT TRUE DESCRIPTIONS. (Not returning, because that would cause even more waste. Will donate to shelter.)
