Trouser socks in snowflake Fair Isle

Such pretty socks. So soft. So tight...? One wash and they're done. These socks were tight to begin with. After one wash they shrunk to the size of a toddler sock. No joke. My daughter found me on the floor of my bedroom wonder what the h*ll I was doing when I told her I was trying to get them on. I broke a nail...trying to put socks on.

I wear a size 6 shoe and could barely get these on. I wore them once before the sock developed a split in the toe seam. I've bought lots of socks over the years at J. Crew and this is the first time I have had such an epic fail, thinking the overall product was just poorly made so the sizing and quality was off. Pretty pattern but doesn't matter because they are going in the trash.

Some of the other reviewer‘s mentioned that these socks were difficult to get on, but comfortable. That is completely accurate. I struggled to get these onto my feet, but once they are on, I don’t want to take them off! They are very warm, which was tested when my family did an astronomy outing one cold night. I got the gray and they are perfect for boots. However, I knocked off a star because it is such a struggle to put them on, especially after the dryer. It’s not that they are tight in size, per se. It’s more that there is little stretch. This also means they won’t fall down. I have a hip injury, so bending over is a challenge, but this didn’t stop me from ordering another pair in navy.

This sock pattern is lovely, but they are IMPOSSIBLE to get on. They have absolutely no stretch. Very dissatisfied with these socks.

Sock looks festive and feels nice but are very hard to get on. It has no give. I bought 2, will keep the one I tried on but donate the one I got for my daughter.

Love the look and feel of the socks, however I'm a size 8 shoe and they are so small and difficult to put on..have'nt washed yet but I can just feel they willeven be smaller..ugh
